Pixalo Theme Fortnight Challenges

Current title holder of our theme fortnight

   Subject: Patterns

Winning photo in the Pixalo Patterns theme fortnight Steve got lucky with the 'Patterns' FA theme as it allowed him to simply hang is ageing camera over the side of his sunbathing position, probably because he couldn't be bothered to get out and shoot something original.

It looks like the Pixalo Crew have thrown down the gauntlet as thats three out of the last four rounds they have won. Can you stop them making it four out of five?

  Previous winners of our Challenges

   Subject: Motion

Winning photo in the Pixalo Motion theme fortnight For this fortnights theme we enjoyed the challenge of shooting 'Motion'. Our first and only lady member of the Pixalo Crew submitted a unique shot capturing a jumping horse. This shot portrayed the theme subject perfectly and received the most votes from our members.

So our congratulations go to Angela for her top spot in a closely fought round which displayed a very high standard of entries from everyone.

   Subject: From Above

Winning photo in the Pixalo From Above theme fortnight Following on from the last theme and as a complete opposite, this fortnights theme was 'From Above' brian wright22's entry entitled 'Vatican Stairway' proved to be the most popular with our voting members and is therefore awarded the top spot.

Well deserved congratulations from all the Crew and members on a great win.

   Subject: From Below

Winning photo in the Pixalo From Below theme fortnight Despite claiming the win for himself this weeks theme fortnight was actually won by Steve and not by Dave. The cheeky admin submitted a shot that Steve took using his camera while he was over in Germany. Although Dave claims the mistake was innocent, we'll let you make up your own minds. Anyway, congratulations to the Pixalo owners for a 'joint effort' and for taking the top spot in the 'From Below' theme.

We encourage you to pop on to the forums and give Dave some greif for his minor misdemeanour.

   Subject: Shadows

Winning photo in the Pixalo Shadows theme fortnight captain has stepped up to the mark and joins many other distinguished Pixalo members by being a worthy winner in one of our Fortnightly Challenges. This round of the theme fortnights competition was set with a subject of 'Shadows'. As usual it received a good number of entries all of which were creative, interesting and worthy entries.

This is the first time that captain has won a round of the fortnightly theme so very well done to you for your first place.
