The lighter's great, I don't know of any way in which you could get the exposure right on that and the flame with taking two shots and stitching somehow.
I like your stuff, you seem to be trying to do something a bit different and that's always going to be challenging.
Rob, you should know better about the difference between B&W and Greyscale.
