Thanks John.

We spent a week on Arran a few years ago (got bitten to death!) and I had thought of using it as a stepping stone to Kintyre and Islay, but I think Calmac's charges would be a bit steep!

Actually the main reason for wanting to go to Islay is Laphroaig, Bowmore, Lagavulin, Ardbeg....
