Hi Dave,

As others have pointed out Nikon makes a 80-400mm lens, but I have tried it and was not too thrilled. I am not sure it is a good idea to cover the entire range with one piece of glass anyway. You appear to be all set for the 70-200mm range, so all you need is the beautiful 200-400mm f/4.0G AF-S VR. I have not had the opportunity to try it out, but here is Bjørn Rørslett's review.
