Is this a selective mono job or were they grey Levis? It seems rather light and lacking in dynamic composition with the label right in the middle and most lines either horizontal or vertical. Clearly the DoF was as shallow as anything with stitches in 'dips' blurring off but that does give a bit more texture to the image. I just think it needs darkening down a touch but I would prefer the lines to be more diagonal for greater dynamism.

Although it is a bit light, you have held on to the lighting well in that it has not actually burnt out anywhere, the stitches are all clearly visible. Can I ask Garry, did you take this as a RAW or as a jpeg?
