Pixalo has been run by four Crew members since we opened. In the last 8 months our membership has grown from 600 to over 2000 with an obvious increased workload for our small but efficient team to handle. Over the last few days the Crew have been discussing this and we have decided that now is the correct time to bring in some new blood to our team and make a few changes.

The people selected have been chosen by the existing Crew. They may not have the largest post counts (its quality not quantity that counts) but they have all stood out to the crew for one reason or another. We are confident in their ability to step up and meet the demands of being a valued Crew member.

Once the new Crew additions are in place and are comfortable with the day to day operation of the site, there will be some restructuring. Dave and I intend to step back from the daily decision making and leave the majority of the sites future direction and development in the capable hands of the Crew. This is a real and genuine chance for the people invited to make a difference to the site for the benefit of all our members, past, present and future.

Later today the first invitations will be sent out to the people that we would like to join us. Should you receive one of these invitations we would ask you to consider it carefully.
