This is a very good shot given the conditions you were faced with, and you got good differential focus too.
I like the first shot rather than the tight crop. If you have editing software you could tone down the feeder and lift the bird a bit and maybe reduce the shadow the feeder has left on the bird from the flash. This would enhance the shot even more.
