Here's the first one from my visit to Bournemouth Oceanarium a few days ago. He was a big fella! This is straight out of the camera; tried tweaking for clearer detail, but no marked improvement, so decided best left as is. Exif (lost in raw-jpg conversion): D50, 50mm 1.8 @ 1.8mm, 1/6 sec, ISO 200, matrix metering, no flash. Widest aperture + no flash due to low light but through glass (doh).
Remembering that this was taken through glass + water, and that he was on the move, and that I had to use a wide aperture because of low light indoors - thus slow shutter speed - to avoid using flash because of the glass <Charlotte stops for air> what d'you think? All comments/pimps welcome
