Hello Fujitsu, welcome to Pixalo.

I would strongly suggest that you do not use this setting on your camera. Although you might think that it will help you, unless any other D50 users can tell me different, the smaller file sizes will severely restrict the size you can print your images, and you might still be oversize for this site.

So, you might have the most perfect image of your Grand-daughter, but only be able to print it at 2.5 x 3.5! When I started using digital with a 3.1 megapixel compact, I got hundreds of images on a 125mb (£90!) CF card. I figured that I would only ever look at the images on a TV, so the low quality files would be good enough. Now, my dSLR, and the old compact that I still have are set on maximum size and qualtiy. I have never printed so many photos as I do now. Of course my first Grand-child might have something to do with that too! Large capacity flash cards are so cheap now, large files are no longer a problem, and re-sizing the images is easier than you think.

Check out the tutorial on re-sizing that Angela posted, it is really easy to get to grips with. Then we can all see your new addition to the family!
