Well It was about four years ago, I was carrying amy first digital camera, RDC 500 Ricoh.
that I still have in my safe, cost about £500.00 2.3 mp, stiil works, apart from the flimsy battery door...anyway I had the camera around my wrist, and I was at my sisters House, and she kept nagging me to go upstairs and get a printer from her bedroom, and on the way down,....steep stairs....I slipped on some letters she had put on the stairs, at great speed I came sliding down the stairs and my leg broke my fall, meeting a wall at the bottom. God It hurt, My leg snapped, my ankle was pointing backwards, an Ambulance was called, went to Hospital for two weeks, had several ops, I had snapped every bone In my ankle, a tri thibula fracture, had steel pins placed in the bones and one in the ankle joint, I still take pain killers today, the camera came away not a scratch on It, and this left me with a small disability, all I can say is, That gas and air they use in the Ambulance is good stuff, after breathing that in, I took several pictures Of my leg..

It does not stop me though, even though I get terrible pain even now several years on, I have planned to walk up Snowdon In May this year, al going well, I will upload some nice pics on here, last time I went up there was by train....the motto of this story,,,dont put things on stairs!
