Re: Lloyds building and 'The Gherkin'

Interesting shots,there Mouldy. Good mix of old and new. It's a nightmare trying to take shots in these conditions. New York being the worst I've treid as the buildings are so high.

The Gherkin has a brillient display at night when the lights on the top for aircraft warning (I think) actually perform to a cycle. I watched it for ages when I was nearby on the 4th floor of a block of flats. No camera with me as I was working.

This why I am revelling in my sigma 10-20. It offers opportunities that I could only dream of before I got it, and the converging verticals sometimes give teriffic effects.
