I've had something of Arcsoft's, but can't remember what it was, scanning tool I think

) Anyway, I shouldn't think their photo studio has anything that cs2 doesn't have
and seeing as you already have cs2 that would be your best bet, I would imagine. However, having said all that, it could be that the Arcsoft one has all the tools you need but probably with a much simpler interface, so it could be worth checking out if you're not keen to use cs2. Only one way to find out ... install + test it for yourself
As for limited hard disk space, you're gonna have to fix that anyways, if you're serious about photography, otherwise where are you gonna store all those photies?? An external drive is the simplest solution to consider.
