Here was a shot that was just screaming for a polarizer and, of course, I didn't have one with me. A cp might have helped with the blown highlights and also handled the glare on the windshield (wind screen?).

My question - as it is, is there anything that can be done with the glare on the windshield and that bit of brightness on the RHS of the rearwindow that you can see through the windshield?

Rob - this car has a "chopped" roof which means the windscreen is probably only about 10 inches high. The black across the top of the shot is the roof of the car. You are right in that folks who are into these cars would recognise that and appreciate it as it looks. I understand what you mean about being top heavy but, in this case, it probably works for the audience that would buy this kind of photo.
