Hi,

Just dropped in to say hi. I discovered this site by accident and decided to join because I've been trying to teach myself digital photography.

I have a cheapie 3.0 megapixel palm DXG digital camera/camcorder that actually takes pretty good pictures and I also have a 24-year-old Nikon 35 mm camera with a bunch of lenses and filters that totally confuse me. It's a beautiful camera and my husband was great with it, but I've never learned how to work it. I've taken some pretty good pictures with it without really knowing what I'm doing.

I much prefer the digital camera, because it's so easy to use, but I'd still like to take on the challenge of learning the Nikon 35 mm.

I have a few pics I've taken that are pretty good and I'll post them, but I'm sure they're nothing compared to what others have posted and I look forward to seeing what everyone else is doing and learning what I can!
