Having played with the inbuilt wifi vs external usb version I got my laptop in to a position where it stated if I wanted to use Windows to manage my wifi, I needed to use "Wireless Zero Configuration" . As ever with Windows, no more info than that & could I find a menu to the such item ...no chance !!!
