LOL! I should have more clearly pointed out that shot #3 is a 100% crop showing the detail resolved in shot #2

To better explain. If you were to print shot #1 out at 12 x 8", the crop would represent section of the photograph just 1.12" high by 1.69" wide... hence my comment about the resolving capability of the lens
