I've purchased the fz-50 and I am most pleased with its construction, capability, and image quality. I'm a small time semi-pro so I don't put food on the with this instrument. However, the products from this camera so far have been fantastically marketable. I purchased this camera last year, november I think, and at that time I wasn't satisfied with the DSLR market selection
. I find myself in rough environments (lots of dirt and dust). To date the Canon Mark 3 and the brand new Olympus line has caught my attention. I'll have to wait a while for my pocket book to blossum, but for now, I don't feel the least bit handycapped with my arsenal.
