We'll just call them socks now.
Ankles are the only sub-par spot as far as I'm concerned.
I've done quite a bit of this myself, though not much any more. If all she truly used was the eyedropper, small brush and smudge tool then she has WAY more patience than I do these days..
I used to troll for this kind of work when I worked in a computer lab at an art school. We'd have open house days where we were compelled to be there and off the clock, usually on a Saturday and Sunday. So the parents who were about to be relieved of $30K for tuition could be wowed and impressed by all the computer/art and technology they were buying into.
I'd set up with one of the Power Macs that was hooked up to a projector with a mirrored display and I'd just work on a restoration and I kept a stack of business cards in my shirt pocket. I would always draw a crowd and I would always end up with enough work from it to keep me busy up until my next open house obligation..
I think the most interesting job was this stack of glass American Civil War era prints this woman brought me. All direct relatives of hers, who had all got together with their wives or sweethearts and had photos done before shipping off to the war. They had been stored improperly. dirt had gotten between the plates which were stacked on top of one another with nothing for a buffer.
I had this really nice 2400 DPI scanner with transparency adapter hood on it in one of my labs and figured since I donated my time, it was donating some of its time to me (while I checked it for proper function). When I was done the lady got back her glass plates and a stack of medium format negatives and sample prints. She was VERY happy, a historical piece of her family history was preserved and I got paid.. In several cases these were the last and ONLY photos ever taken of these people...
I will now go write "I will not hijack someone elses thread" a bunch of times..
