I thought I would share these photos as some of these are quite old, 1985 to be precise, and not your every day type shots. I can't even remember what camera it was, suffice to say that in 1985 it was quite a few years old then
HMS Penelope - Taken in South Georgia. I was a passenger in a Wasp helicopter. The iceberg gives a true scale of the size of those things. Simply awesome.
On South Georgia at Grytviken - Ernest Shackletons last resting place. I regret the lack of respect I'm showing in this photo.
HMS Illustrious - taken from my back door about 18 months ago. I saw the ramp appear from the right, rushed into the spare room to grab the first camera that I could put my hands on and got back just in time before it disappeared!
