Went out last night and as I was travelling to my intended destination I came across a couple of fields full of poppies. It's the first time I have seen anything like this around here, so I took a couple of little side roads and eventually came to these fields. I only took a couple of shots as I then thought I was a bit too close and didn't feel I could do anything with comps etc. Also didn't want to miss the chance of a sunset.
Anyway here is one of those shots......
After taking this I then managed to get lost

eventually reaching the place I had in mind for a shoot, the weather changed.....became very dull and quite windy. I managed to get back home at 11:30pm with the petrol tank reading red.
The field was on a slope and thought i'd leave it like that with the distant horizon being level.....do you think I should rotate it and what else could or should I do to improve this at the time of shooting or in PP.
Shot with the 17-55 exif in pic.
