Excellent shot, wouldn't change a thing

In particular:

Compo is very well balanced. I might have said you cropped a bit tightly on the top edge, but in this case I think the tight crop adds to the effect, i.e. pushes attention down to the actual noose.

Very good creative exposure, 10/10 for that. In a shot like this, you don't want a technically 'correct' exposure at all, that would spoil the whole ambience of the scene. Here you've got areas of high contrast, which fits brilliantly with the subject matter, i.e. light/dark = life/death!

You have clear detail in the rope only, i.e. the wall, rafters + pulley give way in favour of the rope, so that attention quickly falls squarely on the noose.

I like that the corner of the wall is not vertical. The slight diagonal adds to the 'all is not square here!' message.
