Graham, I wouldn't know about the 190 ... I have a Neotec
Actually, the 190 was my 2nd choice: I went to look at tripods in store + saw the 190, which I did like. Couldn't find a Neotec in any store (it was just new out), but I knew it had all the features I wanted, so I bought it sight unseen over the web, and have to say I made the right choice
I have lugged it around Hillier Gardens ... + was a bit puffed after climbing a hill
but to me it's worth the effort
