Hmm, looks more like a smudge than dust (I'm guessing the mark in the middle of the sun, towards the top). Large enough to be on the lens rather than sensor, so I'd check that carefully.

Try taking a shot of bright sky (preferably cloud free), at f32 (or min aperture) - or a bright wall. Dust/smudges will then show up - post shot here
