Thought it was interesting what some site was suggesting: that the 40D has been ready to go since Feb/March, just that Canon thought it didn't stand out enough and were surprised at the success of the D40/80.

So, yes, I'm sure the 40D will impact some D200 sales but with the rumoured release of new Nikon models.........
