Re: D300 Sample Pics (ISO 6400)

Assuming that the 100% un-processed crop as below is legit, then it has less noise at 6400 than my D2X does at ISO800. NoiseNinja returned a NoiseIndex of 46 (41 luma, 6 chroma)... that's exceptional for an ISO6400 image, ane even moreso considering the nominal range for the D300 is ISO200 - 3200.
