Do you have the software Spyder or the one with the printer Colorimeter? If the latter then it's all pretty automated. The former you have to try the default settings then print the control sheets. Tweaking is done manually until you are satisfied. The hardware solution costs more than most printers which is the downside. I don't have experience wth the Epson 760 but from what I can see it's a 3 cartridge model and as such probably not a photo printer so it will struggle to produce the whole gamut of colours from a photo.
