I posted a retake of my Lone Tree shot at the end of that post and think it kind of got lost so I didn't get any response regarding preferences for the original or the retake (except for Charlotte - Thanks again).
So, with your indulgence, I'll post the two here and ask for your opinion on which one I should keep or if I should return and try again.
Armed with all of your suggestions, I returned to retake the shot. The conditions were, of course, different - the original morning was misty and overcast with traces of fog. The second try was with a partly cloudy sky and no wind. So, I was able to get a better reflection but had to use a contrast layer to recreate the background look.
Tried to put the tree more on the third which was tough with the presence of a boat on the far left (Markulous and Rob) and, include the full reflection (Fiona), include the willow for balance (Dogdots) and accomplish all this while still making the tree stand out from the bg (Charlotte).
