I agree with Whip that both shots are great. Different moods evoked but both as strong as each other.

The sky shape in #2, i.e. where the blue is, adds greatly to the comp by 'pointing at' the tip of the distant hill (similar but not as strong in #1). Landscapes with Luck! Can't beat 'um!
