Yesterday (Saturday) didn't start to well for me......I decided after much deliberation to go out with the camera and set off for a walk around the river as it was such a beautiful morning. Anyway got to the river and spotted my first shot, got the camera out of the bag and set it on the tripod only to find I couldn't change the aperture which was stuck on f2.8 in AV and bulb in manual. Moving the wheel on top made no changes to shutter speed or aperture

, so I took the batteries out, even took the lens off all to no avail

. I then thought about resetting the the defaults on the camera but figured I hadn't changed anything in there so it can't be that. Anyway, I started back home, a little disappointed, even contemplating selling my kit as I've spent quite a bit of cash on camera gear lately the wife would have went spare if I thought about buying a new camera on top of my recent purchases. Half way back home I decided to try the factory reset.....would you believe it, it worked

. Can only think the last time I was out it was a bit drizzly and maybe damp got in

So turned back towards the river to try the camera out.....It's the first time I have ever had any problems with the 350d other than user errors.
It was early (ish) with lovely sunlight and a slight haze over the water....after taking some general shots, I fancied trying some really long exposures so set up the tripod and camera and then dropped my filters in the river

So the long exposures went out the window and instead settle for blended and hdr.
2 shot blend
4 shot hdr
EDIT
6 shot hdr
I did manage to get home safely!!!

and my camera is still working thankfully.
