All these cloudy misty shots made me go and take another look at some pics I took a couple of years ago (and never got around to fully processing!) up Sugar Loaf.
Weather was cold and foggy and I was hoping for a cloud inversion. Visibility from Cardiff to Abergavenny was about 200m and then (after getting lost down the tiny roads) literally 100m from where I wanted to park, I broke through the cloud just in time to catch the sunrise!
Here's a shot from later in the afternoon (the cloud inversion never broke up and the Severn Valley never did see the sun that day!)
