Re: Happy Birthday Matt F
Thanks folks and sorry I missed your good wishes on the day. As Dave said, there was Pixalo representation at my celebrations as I dragged both he and 4 other old school mates up from the South West up to Chester. We had a look around the city in the afternoon, some early evening drinks at my house plus some fantastic Indian food courtesy of my good lady wife, Dr F. Then it was into the city centre for more drinks in what proved to be a very nice bar.
Special mention must go to one of our mates Tom who, despite drinking a fair amount, got up at 5:30am, drove all the way to Portsmouth and took part in a half marathon! Proof, if any were needed, that runners are completely mad.
I must confess to feeling a tad fragile on Sunday morning and yet still had to find the energy to unblock the dishwasher and make a “scary scarecrow” for my son’s school Halloween competition.
I took the Monday off – didn’t want to go to work on my actual Birthday (especially my 40th) – and had a pretty lazy day and didn’t get a great deal done to be honest but it was “me time” and that was nice.
So there we go – it’s all over and done with and no special birthdays for me for another 30 years!
Thanks again for your kind wishes.
Matt.
