Has anyone tried Microsoft's take on this, Virtual Earth? It's in Beta and when I first tried it, it was amazing. You can go into 3d and a bird's eye view which gives you north, south, east and west views which were much more up to date that the general view or Google Earth.
Unfortunately it seems to have become a bit unstable lately and crashes everytime I open it.
