The reason for the
car parked helicopter made itself clear - the Navy had a couple of boats (OK, ships!) in town
Never did find anyone to ask as to the whys and wherefores of their visit but did manage to set off the proximity alarm wandering down the dockside, which did provoke the appearance of an armed sentry (sorry!

)
HMS Kent (frigate) and HMS Mersey (P=patrol, I think!)

Ships and Bridge
What I can best describe as undoubtedly a Bayer sensor shot with the fairly detailed result but 'smoothed' to a 'nutella' finish. Shot's not been de-noised or manipulated to any large extent - and not an unpleasant look to it!

Kent's Stern
Maybe a little dark for some monitors, but I liked the hint of internal workings and the internal lights

Breakfasting Cormorants
Not all naval - a bunch of cormorants turned up for their sunrise meal!
