Today was the first time that I have set aside an entire day in my young hobby to just shoot... on my own... no kids... no wife... no shopping... just me.
Things I learned:
* 25 KPH winds don't help
* People don't walk slowly enough for you to figure out camera settings
* Carry a monopod and everyone thinks you're a pro
* A novice can actually go in and out of their backpack 15 times to complete one photo
* When you bar hop your way through town taking photos, nature will call when you get the farthest away from a restroom.
* When you get to spend the day doing what your heart loves you're spitirually lifted regardless of the results.
Big snow storm on Monday. Snow shoes and untested techniques in my future. Thank you all for your continued input and advice.
