It's not a question of me knowing what's happening it's a problem of a large slab of unrelieved black. Agree that proportionedly you need that space allocated at the bottom of the image (i.e. no crop) but I prefer silhouettes that are better defined by their shape (like Steve's tree!)
I like MB's crop too - makes for a shot with a difference!
