Re: Who's photography books do you prefer - Scott Kelby or Martin Evening ?

I've got the Martin Evening one and I think it is good, even though I've not put much of it into practice.

I have Kelby 's CS2 book and that is also good, but I don't like his writing style. Just a personal thing but it steered me away from him and towards Martin Evening for the Lightroom book.

Can't you get to a bookshop and check them both out? When doing this, I usually try to find something I know fairly well and see how the different authors deal with it, then choose the one nearest to my way of working or the one I am more comfortable with. Chances are that I'll latch onto other stuff easier if the author is on my wavelength.
