This is an intriguing shot Warren and one I can't quite make my mind up on. I love from the top of the trees downwards, it has a gentle yet cold feel to it that looks very appopriate. I think it's just that the burnt out brightness of the sun (I am assuming that despite the darkness this was taken during the day and is strongly under-exposed because of the sun) is a bit over-powering and is suppressing the rest of the picture which has a lot more detail in it than it first appears.

I'll be interested to see what other people think. Don't get me wrong, i do like it, I am just not sure about that bright area.
