I had this one, the same image but taken portrait and one of another piece of wool without dangly bits. I couldn't decide between this and the portrait one - I felt the one without the extra fluff looked a little empty by comparison.
Yes, flash was used. It was on our way back from a late afternoon walk and the light had faded. I tried it with and without, but much prefered the dark background the flash gave.
I did wonder if B&W might work, shall give it go!
