You've certainly increased the level of white in the stonework which highlights the line along the top of the wall and around the archway. Must be honest and say I prefer the slightly more subdued version that Sotelo did, actually closer to your own as well the first time round.
But of course that's just a matter of personal preference really. What really matters is you are learning a lot from the things you have read and gone and tried which is what will make you a better processor in the long run.
