Re: Trip to Scotland

About spitting distance south of Aberfeldy there is the Birks of Aberfeldy. Lovely waterfalls which will be in full flow given the rain we've had.

North of Aberfeldy there is: -
Fortingall - 2000+ year old yew tree and rather lovely little village/church.
Nearby is Glen Lyon - Scotlands longest and arguably most beautiful glen.
There is Loch Rannoch, Queens View on Loch Tummel and Schiehallion all north of Glen Lyon
West of Loch Rannoch is Glen Coe and the Rannoch Moor.
East, i'm not so sure as I don't do east

Basically you are in the heart of what is arguably the most beautiful part of Scotland.

This is a great site for places of interest: -
