I have taps! I love my new taps. They are all roundy, smooth and curvy and well, just what I wanted!
After nearly 8 years we are on the final(ish) leg of getting our money pit of a house sorted. This month is bathroom month, next month is dining room and March will see the kitchen ripped out and replaced.
So today I am rather giddy at the installation of my new taps. I also have a new floor, a basin, a loo, a loo seat and a bath. In fact we've had two baths... One was fitted then a large crack was discovered in the bottom when the protective cover was removed. It was duly taken out, much to the disgust of the plumber who had spent much time fitting it so beautifully. Bath No.2 is now in and crack free.
Tomorrow we should have a bath panel and tiles. I didn't think having a new bathroom would be quite so exciting!
I'm sure the excitement will wear off when I realise that I really can't avoid painting, especially the chore of painting the sash window
