One of our members contacted us to ask if the 200kB limit was really necessary, and we decided that it wasn't.
There has to be a limit, and we thought that 300kB would give more scope for better quality in the larger sizes.
There is a caveat though - the larger the image and the better the quality, the more susceptible it is to image theft. So the higher limit is there if you want to use it, but there's no obligation!
