Like the idea but not the execution.
Trying to force this into the forum system isn't, in my opinion, going to work in the long term. Better to hack the gallery software so uploaders can set their lens info at that point - or pull it from the EXIF where available.
Then all we users need to do is search the gallery for a specific lens and the appriopriate images are shown. It'd be even better here than pbase (you can delete the competitor name once you've read the post
) due to us already having images categorised into "subject" - something that isn't possible with the other plaice.
I'd be happy to help with the PHP side if you wanted to do it properly - I ain't a php guru and am still learning but I could help.
