This is a lovely shot
Whilst the ship does provide some nice shapes at the top of it to make a good silhouette, the amount of solid black is a little too much IMHO, and I'd like to see just a hint of detail in the ship's hull.
I like the crop, the ship has plenty of room to 'move' into. I would, however, be inclined to remove the streak of highlight that runs across + just above the top of the ship.
I like your viewpoint, which gives us a good idea of the size of the approaching ship, but I do feel that the full impact of this is a little lost because the solid black mass of the ship shows no
form, i.e. it comes across as a purely two-dimensional shape, rather than a three-dimensional entity. If it had a bit of detail (just a slight variation in tones, mind), i.e. showed the 3rd dimension of coming towards the viewer, then I think it would be a stunning shot.
