it looks to me that they have compromised some buttons on the back to add that 3inch screen. but interesting move for canon to mack a new grip and different batteries and sd cards. seems like they have alienated many looking to upgrading from the xt or xti. or say someone who is looking for a backup body for say a 40d or 5d, the batteries and memory cards are incompatable
