I have an Epson R300 and to be honest no matter what inks I buy black and whites always have a purple or slightly green tinge.

Best thing is to get loads of opinions and hope for the best.

I too use a continuos ink system but ink qualities do tend to vary where black is concerned, and just to add wood to the fire papers vary in how they take black ink as well.
