Dave, did you use your camera set to mono when using the IR filter or did you convert it afterwards?
I have done a couple of shots just to see if it works. It does let light through but not sure it is just the IR. It gives me a bright red picture which whe desaturated looks just like any other picture. This suggests to me that it might not work with my camera but could just be me doing something wrong.
