JMitchell Feet under the table Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: London, England Posts: 3,722	Re: Nikon D40, D40X, D80 and D60 Yes, I strongly believe you'd get no satisfaction from going to a D40/x from the D50. There are less important features, and more silly things. The D80 however is a great camera, so I'd go for that or wait until you can afford it if you can't now.
