Re: Which RAW Converter do you use? (Updated)

I have tried various things over the past three or four years but have now settled on ACR 4.3 which is with CS3 Extended as it does everything I want and gives me very fine control. I can see why people use things other than the camera brand generic software that often comes with cameras (Am I right in believing Nikon even make you pay extra for theirs?) but as I have CS3 and ACR comes free with that, I am delighted with it and see nothing to benefit from any other program.

Although an in-depth review of a couple of these progs side by side might show the odd benefit of one over another, to be honest it mostly comes down to getting used to the one you like and then just stick with it. If it works for you, that is all you need.
