LOL Anth, unless this tiger has an unbelievably split personality I think it must be coincidence.... it's the same tiger
I do agree that the first tiger is slightly tighter than I would normally want in terms of a crop. But the thing that makes me like this picture is that I think it conveys more of 'a moment' rather than simply a portrait of a tiger, ie cooling himself in the water and seemingly oblivious to everything else around him. That is what it did to me when I looked at it anyway, not sure if that comes across to others the same way.
The second one has a look that has more purposeful intent, almost like when stalking (though the head would be a touch lower in that case so I was quite safe

) and we get more od the detail of the markings.
I have no idea why I like the third one. I thought it was a bongo but not sure it is now when I think about it, no doubt someone knowledgeable on here will soon put me right.... please
Those are my thoughts on them that I was too tired to type last night when I put the pics up. Maybe they help, be interested to see if they do the same or different to others.
